Our open evening will be held on 20th September 2022 with Principal introductions at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. We look forward to welcoming you into our school to showcase what we offer to every child. Refreshments will be available.

We will also be hosting open mornings on 19th & 26th September 2022 for those who cannot attend the evening. These will start at 10.30am and therefore no pupils are permitted to attend. Booking is essential for the open mornings through our main reception on 0151 638 2800.

We are delighted with our new 3G astro pitches, they will not only be vitally important to our pupils through PE lessons but are also available for external bookings from 1st September for our community.

Wednesday 22nd June 2022 – 3.30pm to 5.30pm

We are pleased to announce our first Year 5 open event of the year. We will be hosting a guided tour of our school, showcasing the facilities we have to offer and answering any questions you may have.

Booking is essential for this event – please call the school office on 0151 638 2800 to secure your place.

We also plan to host 2 x open mornings and an open evening in September – details to follow.

We are currently working as part of a 21 school research project who form part of the Penisula PE Partnership Wirral. This means we can access valuable funding within our PE department. As part of this project we have been asked to help Sheffield Hallam University conduct some research in this area. 

The University are conducting research to evaluate the effectiveness of a new initiative to improve students experience of PE and physical activity, that is currently being offered to all secondary schools in England. The research project requires students to complete a short on-line survey that asks their opinion of the Physical education, physical activity and sport opportunities available to them at school.

Community Sport Hire at Oldershaw School will be restarting on Monday 4 October 2021 (subject to any further restrictions linked to Covid that might be placed on the school).
